Im not quite sure why this is needed. When you want the auto magic to guess title, type, etc. you should just use the openLink method instead of one of the predefined (more or less internal) helper methods. Perhaps "openLink" is a little confusing as the method accepts an data object (with at least one: html, href or element), an jquery object containing a tag or an URL |
