As of Babel 7.4.0, @babel/polyfill package has been deprecated. Babel 7.4.0 uses the newest version of core-js@3. In order to get the setup working with Babel 7.4.0 and greater versions, installed the latest version of core-js, udpdate .babelrc by explicitly setting the version of core-js and removed @babel/polyfill from the project since core-js is now being used directly for the polyfills.
