Implementing the same eqs as in the paper in NEURON mod files seems to have had little effect:

Messing with XPP, I discovered that altering the total capacitance affects the shape of the sub-threshold behavior. I'm seeing similar effect in NEURON. Here with cm=2:

And this with cm=3:

However this alters the spike times, is quite different from the value in paper and in orig neuron files (cm=1), and would also need different params to get the spike times to match the figures.

Thoughts?

Ok, played with the params in XPP, got a closer match.

Original figure 1C:
