# Human Dignity fMRI

## Study Aim
This study investigates neural responses to dignity-related and non-dignity-related stimuli using functional MRI.

## Task
BIDS task label (filenames): dignity  
TaskName (JSON): Human Dignity  

Participants viewed stimuli related to dignity and non-dignity contexts.  
Each trial included the following phases:
- fixation
- image presentation
- intention evaluation
- distraction/choice
- recognition

Events files were programmatically generated from E-Prime output logs using a custom Python parser.

For subject 01, the events file was restored from a previous dataset version due to inconsistencies in the original E-Prime log.

## Acquisition
Data were acquired on a 3T Siemens Prisma_fit MRI scanner with a 64-channel head coil.

Structural imaging:
- T1-weighted MPRAGE
- 1 mm isotropic resolution

Functional imaging:
- T2*-weighted EPI
- TR = 2.0 s
- TE = 25 ms
- Flip angle = 90°
- Slice thickness = 3.5 mm
- 35 slices
- Descending acquisition
- FOV = 238 mm

## Anonymization
Data were converted using dcm2niix with anonymization enabled.
Structural images are shared without defacing based on explicit participant consent and ethics approval.

## Ethics
All participants provided written informed consent in accordance with institutional ethics approval and the Declaration of Helsinki.
