This workflow builds and pushes Docker images to Amazon ECR, including steps for checking out code, verifying submodules, configuring AWS credentials, and notifying Slack of the build result.
Removed submodule verification step from build workflow.
Added verification for submodules in the build workflow and updated Slack notification payload.
Added paths-ignore to exclude certain directories from triggering the workflow.
Updated deploy workflow to use image labels instead of full image URIs. Added DB migration step and improved Slack notification details.
Added support for production environment in deployment workflow and updated DB migration job handling.
Added input for Git ref and updated environment options.
This workflow allows for restarting deployments in specified environments (staging, sandbox, production) using AWS EKS and kubectl. It includes steps for configuring AWS credentials, updating kubeconfig, and notifying via Slack.
Increased rollout timeout for main and worker apps to 10 minutes. Added a step to run DB migrations in the staging environment and notify Slack after deployment.
Added production status check to cluster status workflow.
