I noticed that, in the D* selector, the ML features of interest for the D0 are treated differently for negative and positive D* candidates. If I understood correctly, this is not needed for mimicking the trigger selections, thus the function |

Several configurables introduced in #12176 are not needed when processing triggered data as the BDT selections on the D0 are not pt-differential at trigger level.
