I believe it would be interesting to provide a benchmark comparing this database engine with others.

Thanks for the suggestion @alkaphreak! We have ran some preliminary internal benchmarking versus other provider options. Before we release anything we want to make sure we're counting our ducks twice and not jumping the gun on it. Hoping to get some more numbers publicly available here within the next week or two once we set up some more advanced benchmark tests.
