Deployer action fails with version 8 of Deployer #95

Let me start off by saying thanks for a great product!
Maybe this issue is similar to #94?
Version 8 isn't listed on https://deployer.org/download, which might be an issue?
Though it is listed in the manifest, but only the alpha version.
The error I get when using the alpha:
Error: The `autoload.php` file not found in:
- file_exists(phar:///home/runner/work/.../deployer.phar/bin/../vendor/autoload.php) = false
