Compilation instructions

Good efffort on your migration to GTK3.
I see that you managed to compile it for Linux. Do you have instructions for that?
I'm getting the following error (among others):

../src/contextify.cc:131:68: error: no matching function for call to ‘v8::Function::NewInstance()’
         Local<Object> wrapper = Nan::New(constructor)->NewInstance();

Also, I was wondering if you ever tried to compile it on Windows

Hi @henshin - really sorry that I haven't responded! I didn't see a notification for your issue. As you can probably guess, this is a bit of a pet project and I haven't been able to put any time towards it lately. I've only ever use Keepnote on Linux, so I can't help you with Windows just yet, and I don't recall encountering that error. Again, it's been quite a while since I've had enough free time to dedicate to the migration to Py3 and GTK3. Hopefully I'll be able to in the coming weeks, so I'm going to keep this issue open. Once the migration's complete, I'll be tackling bugs.

Thanks for coming back to me on this. No worries. I managed to compile it for Windows after a lot of trial and error. I've released the update on my fork at https://github.com/henshin/keepnote. If you get your migration working fine on Linux, I will definitely try to port it to Windows.
I'll keep an eye on your repo.
