Significant rise of used RAM when we run the device for long time

Hello,

We are using jserialcomm library 2.9.3 in our application to serve Modbus. Our device is running 24x7. During long run we observed that there is significant rise of RAM memory (vmrss and kMalloc 512 and kMalloc256) is increasing approx 5MB per day.
Can you please help us to know the reason of memory leak.

What makes you suspect it's the jSerialComm library that's leaking memory and not your own application?

What OS are you using? And what library functions are you calling? A memory leak in native code is unlikely, as there are no memory allocations outside of serial port enumeration. A Java memory leak is possible, but also unlikely. Will need to see what you're calling to investigate further.
