Doesn't work, opens a safari tab for the web player

The app doesn't do anything other than a new safari tab that loads the web player, How do I fix this? Tried quitting the app and spotify, opening the app then spotify and vice versa, no effects.

Spotify for macOS (Apple Silicon)

macOS Sonoma 14.3

@Plagg06 killing "ssa-core" process stopped opening safari tab, at least i got status quo
Though i've no idea about enabling spatial audio
